Summer Camp

Explorers (6 years to 12 years)

Scribbles and Giggles Child Care offers a quality Summer Camp recreational/enrichment program for children who need a safe, supervised environment everyday. This program is staffed by qualified school-aged teachers and aides. ALL MEALS AND 1 SNACK IS PROVIDED. You are responsible for an afternoon snack. Activities includes arts & crafts, once a week field trips, a lot of fun activities outside on our large playground, nature walks through the beautiful Westside neighborhood, quiet time with reading and writing activities and tons of fun and games.

The Summer Camp room is a very busy place, with crafts, beading ,arts, computers, board games and our movie day is Friday ONLY . When the weather is nice, we are outdoors for great exercise! The school gymnasium is available during inclement weather.

Program Goals

The goals of the Summer Camp Program are as follows:

Provide quality summer care and education for all students.

Promote the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of each child.

Provide weekly field trips that promote both learning & physical education.

Provide a program that is developmentally appropriate.

Foster a positive self-image in each child.

Establish good rapport with parents, children and building administrators.
